Vision
To provide training, development and mentoring to young women and girls who are otherwise underserved. Our objective is to create a full-proof program that enables them to walk away with the tools necessary to live life filled with confidence, courage, and influence.
BGintheBR envisions a community where these young ladies experience a variety of positive and encouraging relationships that provide a sense of belonging and allows each girl the ability to achieve their full potential both individually and as members of the community.

ABOUT Melissa
Regarded as one of the First Coast’s most prolific technology leaders, Melissa Fulmore-Hardwick has dedicated her more than 20-year career to merging innovative technology solutions with collaboration-based leadership. Her initiatives have skyrocketed operational efficiency, reduced IT footprint and bridged exciting technologies with operational objectives.
Melissa credits much of her success to the teams she has recruited and cultivated over the years, coupled with her experience serving as a commissioned officer in the US ARMY.
Giving back to the community helps Melissa to create balance, hence her passion for inspiring young people and being a champion for emerging talent.
She is the Founder of recently launched Brown Girls in the Boardroom, Inc. with a mission is to train and develop girls through leadership, education, and positive identity management.
Melissa maintains several board positions, hosts workshops to help young women get excited about their career and helps under served youth throughout Northeast Florida.
